Key Scan
3.20.1 Description
The built-in GMX1000 Key Scan Controller can control a Max. 5x5 Key Matrix.
The Key Scan Controller can be configured to provide different scanning modes, such as Press mode ( Respond when Key is
pressed), Press & Release mode (Respond when Key is pressed and released).
3.20.2 Features
y Scan Mode ( Positive, Negative, Level ) configuration.
y Scan Period configuration.
y Express Key Value in binary or decimal ( Described as Binary or Decimal format. )

3.20.4 Operational Descriptions
As shown in figure 3-41, the Main Controller generates output control signal following the period of configured Scan Clock.
The input Key value is interpreted and interrupts are generated according to the key scan mode
