Ethernet: Enhanced Three-Speed Ethernet (eTSEC)
The Fast Ethernet Controller (FEC) operates in MII mode only, and complies with the AC and DC
electrical characteristics specified in this chapter for MII. Note that if FEC is used, eTSEC 3 and 4 are only
available in SGMII mode.
8.1.1
eTSEC DC Electrical Characteristics
All MII, GMII, RMII, and TBI drivers and receivers comply with the DC parametric attributes specified
in Table 22 and Table 23. All RGMII, RTBI and FIFO drivers and receivers comply with the DC
parametric attributes specified in Table 23. The RGMII and RTBI signals are based on a 2.5-V CMOS
interface voltage as defined by JEDEC EIA/JESD8-5.
