OTUk_TCM_BDIL or OTUk_TCM_BIAEL, when set, pauses BEI accumulation. Any one of the
following conditions also pauses BEI accumulation:
●

●
●
●
●
●
OOF when OTUk_OOFCNT_CTRL = 1
LOF
LOS
TCM OCI
TCM LCK
TCM AIS
TCM LTC
BEI values of 1 through 8 set the status bit OTUk_TCM_BEIS. OTUk_TCM_BEIS and its respective
mask bit OTUk_TCM_BEIM create a maskable interrupt.
The TCM BEI monitor detects the BIAE signal by debouncing BEI over three consecutive frames. If
TCM BEI is equal to 1011 for three consecutive frames, the TCM BEI monitor sets the live bit
OTUk_TCM_BIAEL. Three consecutive frames of TCM BEI not equal to 1011 clear the live bit. Each
transition of OTUk_TCM_BIAEL sets the status bit OTUk_TCM_BIAES. OTUk_TCM_BIAES and its
respective mask bit OTUk_TCM_BIAEM create a maskable interrupt.
Any one of the following conditions resets the debouncing and pauses TCM BIAE monitoring:
●
●
●
●
●
●
●
OOF when OTUk_OOFDBC_CTRL = 1

TCM Status (STAT)
The TCM STAT field monitor updates the stored STAT field, after debouncing the received STAT field
over three consecutive frames. The live bit OTUk_TCM_STATL indicates if the stored STAT field is
valid (1) or invalid (0). Any change in the live bit sets the status bit OTUk_TCM_STATS and, together
with its mask bit OTUk_TCM_STATM, creates a maskable hardware interrupt.
The TCM STAT field monitor stores the decoded alarms as status and live bits: OTUk_TCM_AISS,
OTUk_TCM_OCIS, OTUk_TCM_LCKS, OTUk_TCM_IAES, OTUk_TCM_LTCS,
OTUk_TCM_AISL, OTUk_TCM_OCIL, OTUk_TCM_LCKL, OTUk_TCM_IAEL, and
OTUk_TCM_LTCL. The mask bits, OTUk_TCM_AISM, OTUk_TCM_OCIM, OTUk_TCM_LCKM,
OTUk_TCM_IAEM, OTUk_TCM_LTCM, with the respective status bits create a maskable interrupt.
Debouncing means that a received STAT field is valid only if the TCM STAT field finds identical STAT
field values over three consecutive OTUk frames.
