SATURN USER NETWORK INTERFACE FOR 2488 MBIT/S

LREIBLK:

The line REI block error (LREIBLK) bit controls the generation of line remote error indication.

When LREIBLK is set to logic 1, the line REI inserted in the M1 byte represents BIP-24 block

errors (a maximum of 1 error per STS-3/STM-1 per frame). When LREIBLK is set to logic 0,

the line REI inserted in the M1 byte represents BIP-8 errors (a maximum of 8 error per STS-

1/STM-0 per frame).
