This register contains data read from the SBI EXTRACT tributary control
configuration RAM after an indirect read operation or data to be written to the
tributary control configuration RAM in an indirect write operation.
Note
This register is not byte addressable. Writing to this register modifies all the bits
in the register. Byte selection using byte enable signals (CBEB[3:0]) are not
implemented. However, when all four byte enables are negated, no access is
made to this register.
ENBL
The ENBL bit is used to enable the Tributary. Writing to the SBI EXTRACT
tributary control configuration RAM with the ENBL bit set enables the SBI
EXTRACT block to take tributary data from an SBI tributary and output that
data to the SBI PISO blocks.
Reserved:
The reserved bits must be set low for correct operation of the FREEDM-
84P672 device.
TRIB_TYP[1:0]
The TRIB_TYP[1:0] field is used to specify the characteristics of the SBI
tributary as shown in Table 38 below:
