XOFF:
The XOFF serves as a transmission enable bit. When XOFF is set to logic zero, POS
frames are transmitted normally. When XOFF is set to logic one, the current frame being
transmitted is completed and then POS frame transmission is suspended. When XOFF is
asserted the FIFO still accepts data and can overflow. XOFF is provided to facilitate system
debugging rather than flow control. This bit should not be changed on the fly for flow
control purposes.
Reserved:
All reserved bits must be programmed to default values for proper operation.
