3.7.10 CRT Control Register(CRTCON)
CRT Control register controls the operation mode of CRTC.
* Frame Memory Bank <n> Ping-Pone Enable
: Inactivation / Activation of Frame Memory Bank switchover by Graphic Engine Flip Command
- In inactivation state, CRT Frame Memory Bank is fixed.
- In activation state, switchover of CRT Frame Memory Bank is performed by Graphic Engine Flip Command
( refer to explanation about CSC Image Capturer Control Register Bit 0 )
* Bit per Pixel
: Register for setting the number of bits per Pixel
: Only used in 24 bit mode – JPEG Image Capturer block
* External Video Sync Dependent / Independent Mode Bit
: In Independent Mode setting, independent of Local / Remote Mode setting.
: In Dependent Mode setting, dependent on Local / Remote Mode setting
* Local / Remote Mode
: Operates with Sync generated from CRTC,
Operates independent of Local mode - External Video Decoder Sync.
: CRTC is synchronized in Remote mode - External Video Decoder Sync.
* TV / VGA Mode is configured using CRT Control Register[7:6]:.
00 : VGA mode
11 : TV mode
* TV Mode is configured using CRT Control Register[5:4]:
00 : NTSC,PAL-M
10 : PAL COMBI-N
01 : ban on usage (N/A)
11 : PAL BDGHIN
* Vertical Double Scan
: one line is displayed two times to Vertical direction.
* Horizontal Double Scan
: one Pixel is displayed two times to Horizontal direction
