FSM enters the IN FRAME state. The maximum reframe time should be (M + 1) × frame period in the
absence of framing pattern errors.

While in frame, the frame aligner monitors the framing pattern for framing bit errors. Upon detection of
N (provisionable) consecutive framing pattern errors, the frame aligner enters the OOF state. The
number N is provisionable using the configuration bits OOF_CTRL[2:0] as indicated in the following
table.
After entering the OOF state, the frame aligner remains synchronized to the frame boundary in the IN
FRAME state and keeps generating frame sync pulse in reference to the previous IF frame state.
