[Precautions for setting of processor mode]

The M37906 operates only in the single-chip mode. Therefore, for the M37906, do as follows:

• The MD0 and MD1 pins must be connected to Vss.

• The processor mode bits (bits 0 and 1 at address 5E¹⁶) must be fixed to “00 .”
