1.3 References
General instructions on TD242LP interfacing are given in Sections 6 and 7 of the TD242LP
Technical Manual (TDI document number: MU4005). This reference design describes a specific
interfacing design of TD242LP with Intel’s StrongARM SA1110.
It is assumed that the user has knowledge on general principles of microprocessor interfacing, as
well as some understanding on the Intel SA1110 and the TD242LP. Reading of Chapter 7 of
USB Specification 2.0 is recommended.

For clarity, all TD242LP signal names in the following are in italic bold: e.g., A4 and VBUS, and
SA1110 names are in plain bold: e.g., A4 and nCS5.
