(Note2) By changing the VDD from 10.8V to 13.2V , line regulation can be expressed as :
Δvout=Vout(@Vdd=13.2V) – Vout(@Vdd=10.8V),
LiR%=0.5*100*Δvout/Vout(@Vdd=12V). Load Current is 1mA when LiR% is measured.
(Note3) In each output selection, load regulation can be obtained by changing the output current from
1mA(No Load ) to rated current (Full load) with a low duty cycle current pulse (4ms period,400us
at maximum current with 50us rise and fall times).
Δvout=Vout(No load) – Vout(Full load)
LoR%=100*Δvout/Vout(NoLoad).
Input Voltage (VDD) is 12V when load regulation is measured.
(Note4) Current limit mode of ML5501 is the fold back mode. ML5501 judges over current state when
load current is more than current limit value or output short to ground level.
