General Description

The ML5501 is an integrated boost converter with an integrated linear regulator. It is capable to drive

current up to 300mA. ML5501 operates at maximum switching frequency of 400KHz that allows easy

filtering with lower noise. There is a compensation pin providing a flexibility to set the compensation filter.

Output voltage is adjustable for 12V and 17V fixed voltages by “Set” pin. Other voltages could be

generated by changing external resistive voltage divider. Over Temperature circuitry limits the maximum

die temperature. Also it includes

built-in soft-start and short-circuit protection with foldback current limit.
