The above enable bits allows for the generation of receive path AIS (AIS-P) based on the
following conditions:
- receive LAIS (register 06A4H)
- path loss of pointer defect
- path AIS pointer defect
- path payload label unstable defect
- path payload label mismatch defect
- path unequipped defect
- path payload defect indication defect
- path remote defect indication defect
- path enhanced remote defect indication defect
- path trace identifier unstable defect
- path trace identifier mismatch defect
- path growth defect
When the bit is set high, the corresponding defect indication is ORed with other defect
indications to generate receive AIS-P. When under receive AIS-P, a all ones pattern is
inserted into the receive SPE bytes. When the bit is set low, the corresponding defect
indication does not affect the assertion of AIS-P.
