Host Mode Application
Figure 13 shows a typical application using the LXT350 in Host mode. See Table 18 through Table
19 to select the transformers (T1 and T2), resistors (Rt and RL) and capacitors (CL) needed for this
application.
Note: If the application includes surge protection, such as a varistor or sidactor on the TTIP/TRING lines,
it may also require reducing the value of the capacitor CL, or eliminating it completely. Excessive
capacitance at CL will distort the transmitted signals.
