8.11.6 Border
An border of 1 clock (1 dot) equivalent size can be added to a char-
acter to be displayed in both horizontal and vertical directions. The
border is output from the OUT1 pin. In this case, set bit 5 of a color
register to “0” (character is output).
Border can be specified in units of block by using the border selec-
tion register (address 00E516). Figure 8.11.14 shows the border se-
lection register. Table 8.11.6 shows the relationship between the val-
ues set in the border selection register and the character border func-
tion.
