The ICR profile for NEXT is not as critical since the TX and RX wafers can be grouped

separately. The ICR profile for FEXT satisfies the IEEE 802.3ap spec up to 20GHz. For further ICR

improvement, some pins can be “skipped”. In this document, we will analyze the IT3 with 60% and

50% pin density assignment. For non-fully-populated pin assignments, the skipped pins are

terminated each to 50Ω to avoid resonance.
