kaya’s Multi Color Plasma Display
utilizes Field Electric Discharge
Technology.
This display consists of inert gases
(xenon and neon) trapped between
two sheets of glass. Electrodes are
sandwiched between both the glass
plates.

Applying a voltage between the
electrodes, excites the gas atoms,
causing them to release ultra violet light photons. These invisible photons
interact with fluorescent (phosphor) coating on the inside of each cell,
emitting visible light in the process. The phosphors contained in plasma
display emit colored light when excited. Plasma displays offer a wide
viewing angle and very bright images.
