The 9OSC0315 MMIC is based on these concepts. Figure 4 shows a block diagram of the major blocks inside the 9OSC0315 MMIC.
Filter
The 9OSC0315 MMIC includes a 3rd order 6-8GHz bandpass L-C filter, which is used to set the tuning bandwidth of the oscillator.The phase
noise of the oscillator is dominated by the phase-delay versus frequency characteristic of this filter. Figure 5 and Figure 6 show the
passband and phase characteristics of the filter.
