6.8. Exclusions of Audio Baseband Features
In general, all functions can be switched independently.
Two exceptions exist:
1. NICAM cannot be processed simultaneously with
the FM2 channel.
2. FM adaptive deemphasis cannot be processed
simultaneously with FM-identification.
6.9. Phase Relationship of Analog Outputs
The analog output signals: Loudspeaker, headphone,
and SCART2 all have the same phases. The user
does not need to correct output phases when using
these analog outputs directly. The SCART1 output has
opposite phase.
Using the I2S-outputs for other DSPs or D/A convert-
ers, care must be taken to adjust for the correct phase.
If the attached coprocessor is one of the MSP family,
the following schematics help to determine the phase
relationship.
