Pin 20 : P12 or data bit 2:  
in Port Mode: Port 1 Bit 2  
in Bus Mode: CPU data bit 2

Pin numbers refer to the 68–pin PLCC housing.  
Pin 21 : P13 or data bit 3:  
in Port Mode: Port 1 Bit 3

The functions of some pins are influenced by bit 4 of the  
CCU control register (addr. 201H, copied from FFF9H at  
reset: CCU control register bit 4 = ‘1’ switches the CCU  
in Port Mode , CCU control register bit 4 = ‘0’ switches  
the CCU in Bus Mode.

In addition, some port bit functions may be changed be-  
tween Normal Mode and Special Mode by setting the  
specific bit in its port mode registers.
