Generically, SI means 'Stream Interface', and is documented as such in this data
sheet.

However, when the MAC Interface is configured for:
– 10M operations, SI is an acronym for 'Serial Interface'.
– 100M operations, SI is an acronym for 'Symbol Interface'.
