Integrated, Open Architecture
The CL-MD56XX is based on the FastPath platform,
which comprises an open-architecture ARM (Advanced
RISC Machines) controller and a proprietary high-MIPS
DSP (digital signal processor). Each component is high-
ly integrated using Cirrus LogicÕs state-of-the-art pro-
cess technology. The result is a platform with low power
