Life Validation Test
The following specifications shall be satisfied when the capacitors are restored to
subjecting them to the DC rated voltage for 1,000 hours at 85 C.

Shelf Test
The following specifications shall be satisfied when the capacitors are restored to 25 C after
exposing them for 500 hours at 85 C without voltage applied. The rated voltage shall be
applied to the capacitors for a minimum of 30 minutes, at least 24 hours and not more than
48 hours before the measurements.

DC Rated Voltage: Expressed in Volts. Zeros proceed the voltage rating
when less than 100 volts. An R indicates a decimal point (e.g. 6R3 = 6.3V ).
Capacitance Tolerance: F = 10% to 50%
Capacitance Value: Expressed in Microfarads. The first two digits are
significant figures, the third digit indicates the number of zeros
(e.g. 560 = 56 F; 561 = 560 F; 562 = 5,600 F ).
