Note 2: It is recommended that a PMBus master read back written data for verification i.e. do not rely on the ACK/NACK bit since this bit are as susceptible to errors as any other bit*. However,  
under very rare operating conditions, it is possible to get intermittent read back failures. It is therefore recommended to implement error handling in the master that also deals with those situations.
