Application Examples:
High inrush motors, transformers,
power supplies, heaters and reactive
loads. Relatively long thermal trip
delay and very high magnetic trip
point.
Prototype testing is recommended in
motor applications where the relatively
long thermal trip delay may not
provide adequate motor overload
protection. Motor-integral overload
protectors are recommended, with the
V-EA-D providing disconnect, backup
thermal protection and additional short
circuit and energy let-through
protection.
